extras de pe site-ul festivalului:
Elena Morar discovered the play of the Canadian author Wajdi Mouawad at the “Texts Anthology” and after adapting text she set on stage entitling “The Thirsty”. Rumanian director’s piece is presented in Prishtina, within “Skena UP” festival. “It’s a story for a men looking for himself, who wants to know what he likes, a men who has forgotten his dreams, forgotten what he wanted to be. It is also "a love story”, Morar says. For the director it’s not important if the play is going to take any prize in the festival, but it was important to perform for spectators that do not understand the Rumanian language. “The audience reaction came at some things that we didn’t imagine, but not in some details that were very important, but this kind of reactions came since the play is in Rumanian. That is why performing here it’s a kind of test, for things that people like or don’t like.”
